Just upgraded to 4.1 from 3.66 and only my account (admin account) has a field for the api password in the user section under preferences. My other two accounts don't have a space for this so I can't set them up with a password to use with windows Live Writer, W.Bloggar etc.
Any idea how to put a password in?
You need to log in as the specific user to see the api key (whilst in the blog that they have permission to post to?).
doh! As an administrator of the system and the fact that I can see everything else, I thought I'd be able to do that too. Your explanation makes sense. I'll have to try it out - thanks.
